Are you new to yoga and not sure where to start?
Yoga is suitable for everyone, I’ll go through a few basics on this page so have a flick few and see if it sounds like something your looking for!? We all have a starting point…
Which classes are right for you?
Every yoga teacher has a different style of teaching, its about finding the teacher and class which clicks for you! Many yoga classes are suitable for all levels, there are many posture variations which your teacher should be able to guide you through, just ensure you remain present and listen to your own breath and body so as to get the right stretch for you.
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you are comfortable moving in. You don’t need any special brand of clothing or any equipment. Just come as yourself! Shoes aren’t necessary for yoga and you will need to take them off when you arrive. Most people prefer to be barefoot on their mat but if you prefer to wear grippy socks you can bring those along.

Yoga has many benefits, I’ll mention just a few:

What should I expect from my first class?
Please don’t panic when you walk into your first class – everyone is there for the same reason; to practice Yoga & do something amazing for their mind, body & spirit. Introduce yourself to the teacher if you are new to Yoga and let them know if you have any worries or injuries they need to know about. Find yourself a mat, get comfortable and relax! Every single person in that room has been there.
How much does it cost?
Yoga classes vary in price depending on where you are, my charges are £8 for classes or I offer a class pass for 5 classes for £37.50!
